AEP Texas indicates that restoration of electric service to some parts of the Falfurrias and Premont areas could extend through Friday night due to the large amount of high water making it difficult for crews to gain access to make needed repairs.
Just over 730 consumers were without power in the Falfurrias and Premont areas as of 4 p.m. Wednesday. AEP Texas representatives are working with local officials and local media to ensure they are kept informed regarding the situation and efforts to restore power.
Crews will continue their restoration efforts until power has been restored to all consumers.
