AEP Texas crews continue to make progress in Hurricane Hanna restoration

July 28, 2020

AEP Texas crews are making great strides in reducing the number of outages resulting from Hurricane Hanna.  We have brought in additional crews from other parts of Texas and neighboring states.  This was a Category 1 Hurricane that left approximately 200,000 customers without power.  We know any extend outage can be frustrating, and we deeply appreciate your patience and support during the restoration process.  Our efforts will continue until all customers who can take electric service are restored.
